From our walled garden, to grand herbaceous borders and sweeping lawns to tree-lined walkways, Saltmarshe Hall is a year-round garden worthy of a visit. Discover our wonderful garden and enjoy a cup of tea.
Parkland and beyond
Fronted by the River Ouse and set in 17 acres of stunning Yorkshire countryside picturesque views can be seen from all areas of the garden. The parkland offers opportunities to explore riverside walks, ancient trees and discover hidden wildlife. For the more adventurous hiker or cyclist, we are on the Trans-Pennine trail running from Hornsea to Southport.
As well as the extensive plant and wildlife to be found in our own garden and grounds, nearby Saltmarshe Delph and the RSPB site at Blacktoft Sands are nature reserves which attract all manner of birds and wildlife and well worth a visit.
