Beautiful Wedding Venue

"...We had our ceremony in the Drawing Room and wedding breakfast in the Morning Room. There were some really lovely small touches by the team that just added to the day. The venue was very relaxed and accommodated our wishes from the snow machine, providing changing facilities for our living statue, carefully planning where the soprano lady would be situated to optimise performance, we were at capacity on guest numbers in the drawing room, again Ashleigh came up with a plan to ensure all guests were there along with the harpist and soprano..."

Amazing Team

Where do we even begin with the amazing team at Saltmarshe Hall! From the moment we visited Saltmarshe Hall in 2023 we knew instantly this was the place we wanted to get married, the building is beautiful and the gardens were just incredible. My partner always wanted to get married outside however I fell in love with Saltmarshe for the morning room and the amount of natural light it let in. This all changed the moment I saw Limetree Avenue, it was like something out of a fairy tale. The twinkling lights, the long aisle, the stone steps all just made our vision come to life. We booked our wedding a matter of weeks after viewing and thought the time would drag but my goodness those 2 1/2 years absolutely flew by. We met with Amy for our 6 month planning meeting and the day started to become real, this girl is a literal angel, nothing was too much trouble, she gave us some amazing ideas to think about and just made us feel like everything was in hand. Without Amy I would have been a complete wreck on the morning of the wedding. She was my calming influence, and more, Amy pulled out all the stops and took everything that was thrown her way in her stride.

We were looking for a venue that would provide a chic vibe and flexible spaces no matter the weather, as well as a team we could trust to coordinate our wedding on the day. Working in events myself I know how important the events team are for providing that important glue that keeps things running smoothly. 

You and the team and Saltmarshe delivered on all this and more, and we couldn’t be more pleased and proud to have hosted our wedding with you. Near enough every guest complimented the gorgeous venue and food on the day. 

Thank you for being flexible, reliable, encouraging and supportive throughout. We really felt at ease knowing the day would run smoothly, which is priceless in itself!
